BOPP, CPP and PET films
Extrapack uses range of films for direct production of packaging and also for lamination (adhesion) with other materials.
BOPP - Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene
Bi-axially Oriented Polypropylene is the most widely used polymer film for the production of packaging in the food industry and is used to package - sugar, pasta, rice and other dry goods. It has very good transparency, strength, and minimal extensibility. It can be matte or glossy and is suitable for metallizing and laminating with other polymer films. Extrapack uses BOPP film with a thickness of 15, 20 and 30 µm.CPP - Cast Polypropylene
The polypropylene films made using cast technology without bi-axial orientation are different. They have a lower hardness and a large extensibility and are used for bags (including bags for wicket packaging machines), and for lamination with polyethylene and other films.PET - Polyethylene Terephthalate
Polyethylene Terephthalate is a type of polyester, from which, not only soft drinks bottles are produced, but also very strong and thin foils with excellent physical characteristics:- High strength and low stretch
- Good barrier for gases and aromas
- Possibility for quality printing and lamination
- High temperature resistance
